Urban music icon Ecko releases new song “No Ceiling” for the new Lexus “Emotional Sparks” campaign. With this track, Ecko matches his hard-hitting lyrics and penetrating rap to the passion and energy felt behind the wheel of a Lexus. The track, penned by the Argentine and produced by GRAMMY award winning producers, Nova Wav (Beyonce, Rihanna, Jay-Z), encourages us to experience the power of accelerating at full speed towards an unknown destination and it is accompanied by a powerful video highlighting the rapper’s unique sound with dynamic imagery that inspires us to push the envelope and celebrate freedom.
The pioneer of urban music doesn’t cease to amaze and at only 22 years old, has forged a dream musical career and it seems that the best is yet to come for this rap, trap and reggaeton singer-songwriter. Later this month, we will see Ecko venture into the world of acting as a star in the HBO Max original series, “Días de Gallos.” Fans will be able to tune in to watch the superstar starting September 16 and join him in this series that features three rappers looking to win the top spot in the Batalla de los Gallos while facing the personal battles that life throws at them. The 10 episodes of “Días de Gallos” will make us laugh, cry and think about love, friendship and music, especially, how rap can lead us to find ourselves.
Each one of Ecko’s records shows us a little piece of this pioneer of urban music. His EP ‘Geminis,’ released in June this year, made us dance to the rhythm of his innovative rap sound. However, it was his first EP, ‘Young Golden‘ that introduced to the world of the versatile and contemporary artist. ‘Young Golden‘ was a resounding success and certified Gold in Argentina.
