On Saturday, September 25, Grammy Award-winning artists Enrique Iglesias and Ricky Martin hit the stage together at the MGM Grand Arena in Las Vegas for their first show on a 22-city tour across the country. Joining them for their sold-out, joint concert in Sin City was singer and songwriter Sebastián Yatra, who will appear with Iglesias and Martin in another 14 cities until the tour wraps up in Anaheim, California, on November 20.
Dressed in an outfit from Dolce & Gabbana’s Spring 2022 collection, Yatra opened the show with a special rendition of “Traicionera,” the reggaeton single that launched him into the mainstream in 2016. He also performed “Un Año,” “No Hay Nadie Mas,” “Chica Ideal,” “Delincuente” and ended his set with the fan favorite “Pareja Del Año.”
Yatra was followed by a performance by Martin and his 10-piece band and dancers, who started his set with classics like “Livin’ La Vida Loca” and “La Bomba.” He also mixed the old with the new with his latest hit “Que Rico Fuera” from his 2021 EP Play.
“I want my set to feel like a non-stop dance night out with my special friends,” Martin said in a statement. As the night rolled along, Martin also sang other hits like “Maria,” “Vente Pa’ Ca,” and “La Mordidita.”
The evening entered its third act with Iglesias, the King of Latin Pop, who selected some of his biggest hits from his catalog to perform for the Las Vegas audience – from “Duele el Corazón” and “Súbeme la Radio” to “Loco” and “I Like It.” He also sang some of his songs from his newest album Final Vol. 1. like “Me Pase” and “Chasing the Sun.”
The show ended with Yatra, Iglesias, and Martin taking the stage together to thank their fans for coming out to the concert and matching their energy.
